Sunny Studio Balloon Alphabet Stamps

Hi there! This post is a little different from my usual card share posts. I wanted to talk about my stamping process when it comes to alphabet stamps. For today's post, I'm focusing on the new Balloon Alphabet stamps and dies from Sunny Studio. However the processing I'm sharing will work for any alphabet stamps.

When I get a new alphabet stamp set and the coordinating dies, I like to stamp and die cut all the letters in many different colors so I have them ready to use. Keep reading for my take on the fastest and most efficient way to do this.

I like to keep the coordinating die set together (like how it comes from the manufacturer). Then I will die cut a bunch of blanks from white card stock. I save one of the panels I have die cut the letters from to use in my Misti as a template. I position each individual letter stamp in it's spot on the template. I close the Misti door to pick up all the stamps and leave the template in place. Next I fill each spot with a blank die cut letter. I can then ink up the whole alphabet at once to stamp the images on the blanks. I will do this many times in different ink colors.

In a short amount of time, the result is loads of colorful die cut letters ready to use on paper crafting projects. Just think of all the customized birthday cards you can make with these. I have a feeling you will be seeing these letters show up on more of my future card shares in the coming weeks, wink, wink! Below is a simple card I made featuring some of these fun balloon letters.

All Sunny Studio products used to create this card are listed below:

Honey Bee Stamps Vines of Love card

Happy Saturday! As promised, I'm sharing another card made with some of the new products from the Honey Bee Stamps Perfect Match Release. I have been loving the Bold Backgrounds series and this release has a new design which might be my favorite to date.

Honey Bee Stamps products used to create this card:

This card came together quickly mainly because I opted to NOT to add any ink shading. I die cut all the pieces from solid color card stock and left them clean. I picked out some light pink gingham pattern paper to cover the card base. I also added a vellum panel before adhering the vine background to the card. There's a couple different spots to add the greeting on this vine background design. I thought the lower left area looked good.

That's all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Here's the card I'm sharing for hop. I'll list and link the new release products I used below the photo.

This is an easy mini slimline design to create with the new Lovely Layers Playing Cards. This set includes all the dies needed to create a full deck of cards. These mini playing cards measure 2 inches tall by 1.25 inches wide. I created a Valentine card with them but these fun cards could be used for many different occasions by simply changing up the color palette and greeting.

I will be back tomorrow to share another card created with more products from the Perfect Match Release. See you then!

Pretty Pink Posh Love Shaker Card

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a fun Valentine's shaker card featuring some adorable ghost images from the Pretty Pink Posh Valentine Ghost Friends stamp set. I was thrilled when I saw this cute stamp set because I have always loved adding ghosts to Halloween cards. Now I can use them for Valentine projects too!

On an A2 size card I have created a large shaker element with the ghosts flying around it. This shaker design is so easy to make with the Love Word Shaker dies. I die cut the love word window opening into a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of kraft card stock.

I took a clear cello bag that was slightly larger than the love word and filled it with Sweetheart Shaker Beads.  I find using a cello bag is the quickest and easiest way to make the shaker element. I adhered the bag to the center of an A2 card base. Then I adhered the love window panel overtop. Next I inlaid and adhered the hot pink love word outline.

I Copic colored a few ghosts from the Valentine Ghost Friends stamp set and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered them around the shaker window. I trimmed off the part of the ghosts that was over the edges so the card would fit into an A2 envelope. Lastly I added a sentiment strip in the center of the love word. This sentiment stamp is included in the Valentine Ghost Friends set as well as a few other punny ghost sentiments.

Here are the Copic colors I used to color the ghosts and their accessories: C1, C3, R14, R24, RV10, RV04

Sunny Studio Cat Antics Card

Happy Monday everyone! I'm excited to start sharing my cards made with the new release from Sunny Studio. Today's card features some of the adorable images from Cat Antics

I have used the new Rounded Rectangle Window dies to create a trio of windows in which I have arranged these playful kitties. I used two sizes of the Rounded Rectangle Window dies to cut out the openings into a white card panel measuring 5.5" wide by 4" tall. Using foam tape, I adhered my custom window panel over top a pink and green ink blended background.

I picked out four of the cat images, the box, and the mouse toy from the Cat Antics stamp set to Copic color and use on this card. After coloring and die cutting with the Cat Antics dies, I played around with the images in the window spaces until I found a pleasing arrangement that also allowed room to stamp a sentiment in one of the windows. The "pawsitive vibes" word stamp is included in the Cat Antics set. The "especially for you" stamp is from the Inside Greetings Seasons set

Here are the Copic colors I used to color the images:

brown box - E40, E41, E42

mouse toy - T1, T2

black & white cat - N0, N2, N4, N6, N8

grey & white strip cat - T1, T2, T4, T6

Siamese cat - YR30, W3, E70, E71, E74, E77

Calico cat - W1, W3, E33, E35

rosy cheeks - R20
